As 2023 comes to a close we’re super thankful for everyone’s support. We successfully finished construction in April and have built out an operations and bar team we can be proud of. We re-opened membership in November after a long pause and have accepted another cohort of members, our biggest ever, who we’re looking forward to getting to know in the new year (and we’re still accepting applications and will be for the rest of the year, so come on down).

Below are some of the highlights from the year and what we’re excited about going forwards.

The High Brow Highlights

We’re JUST kicking off our intellectual programming but have hosted the Austin University affiliated Cosmos institute and are the NYC home for Johnathan Bi’s philosophy lecture series as he films out an amazing set of content for the next couple years.

The massive success of these two events and some smaller intellectual discussion series led to us literally hiring a head of book clubs and dinner discussions as an actual position, and we can’t be more stoked to build this out in the new year — the goal is 30 dinner discussions, lectures and book clubs, mostly on Sundays and Mondays, to feed the brain of our members and meet more intellectually curious prospective new members.

Intentional Sports & Entertainment Programming

We started figuring out how we want to do our interest programming and have divided it into a Head of Sports and Entertainment Partnerships and a Head of Industry Partnerships (more career, tech, vc, etc. kind of dinners, etc).

This was colored by a couple amazing events, one a member inspired F1 Watch Party for the Mexico Grand Prix together with Red Bull bringing in Driver Simulators . . .

And the other was an amazing party with Andy Roddick and Chase Travel for the U.S. Open Quarterfinals.

How we partnered with forward thinking orgs to launch unique, intentional content that was still highly personal is how we’re scaling going forward.

The Low Brow Highlights

It wouldn’t be a social club if there weren’t parties, and boy did we have parties — we got to know Faces for Radio . . .

And Hot Date (twice) . . .

Helped Beau Cruz launch his song . . .

And even got a couple members of NSYNC performing in the space.

This year was about building the foundations.

Next year will be about growing Maxwell Tribeca into an amazing community with the most enviable programming, the most beautiful space in the city and most importantly, the best people.

Thanks for an amazing year, throw us an application and follow us on Instagram, and looking forward to meeting you in the new year.

Cheers,

David, Kyle, Joelle
